BECOMING A COMMITTEE MEMBER

 

In order to stand for election to the Management Committee you must be a shareholder of the Association, it costs £1 to join (click here for a shareholder application form).  Please click to access our Membership Policy which gives further details on how to become a shareholder.  

 

The Management Committee meet monthly, usually on the 1st Thursday of each month and meetings last around two hours. Our Standing Orders and Remit Policy ensures the Association/Committee Members carry out their affairs in accordance with the rules of the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014.  The Code of Conduct Policy for Governing Body Members sets out the requirements and expectations which are attached to your role as a member of our Governing Body/Management Committee.
