Reporting Repairs


Repairs can be reported to the Association by


• telephone
• in writing or by e-mail
• online via our website
• face-to-face


Outwith office hours, the emergency repairs telephone number is available on the answering machine. This information is also printed in the Association’s newsletters and other correspondence we send you from time to time. When you report a repair the officer will take full details of the repair request and where possible arrange a date for the work to be carried out. You will be advised if an inspection of the work is required before the repair request can be passed to our Contractor.


If no inspection is required you will receive confirmation by letter of the repair priority, timescale of completion, access arrangements and the details of the contractor carrying out the necessary works. You will also receive a Repair Satisfaction Survey and prepaid envelope and your feedback is welcomed to allow us to improve our service delivery.


If the repair is an emergency you will be advised of this on the telephone and a copy of the repair confirmation will be sent to you.
